Welcome!
This information portal was developed over several years. There are great ideas, activities and support information for teachers primarily from grades 4-12. There are many activities that might be suitable for grade 3. (If a link is not available please contact.)
Want to improve and increase all student's written stamina and fluency in all grades and content areas. For upper grades, excellent preparation for ACT or SAT? Try "Writing Tracker". Go to Resources and Activities above and scroll down to Writing Tracker. New information has been added
Write Night.
Invite parents to come write with their kids - in whatever language works for them. Use Writing Tracker as a model. Before they write, suggest a few topics parents might want to consider writing about. Important to make parents feel comfortable and knowing that they only share with their child. Another option is to invite parents to write with their kids at home, as students have the experience and can put together packets for parents to use. Engaging parents in the process of improving writing could have some big rewards.
